Hotellneset is a 1 by 2 km peninsula located northwest of Longyearbyen , Svalbard in the Adventfjord waters [1] . There is a cargo port on the peninsula, as well as Svalbard Airport . The highest point of the peninsula is the Plateauberg mountain plateau, on which the Spitsbergen satellite station is located - a station for servicing the underwater cable system .
