Gadget Gambela [1] ( lat. Poecile gambeli ) is a small bird from the titmouse family that lives in North America . The species is named after the American naturalist (1823-1849).

Content
DescriptionGambel’s gaiter 14 cm long, wingspan 19 cm. The birds have a black crown on their heads, white eyebrows, black stripes behind their eyes, and a black throat. The back and sides are gray, the lower part of the body is light gray. The beak is short and black.
DistributionGadget Gambela inhabits the mountainous regions of western North America, from the southern Yukon to California and Texas. In the cold season, it occasionally descends into the foothills.
LifestyleIn the summer and during the breeding season, bird nutrition consists mainly of insects. Seeds of conifers and other plants are also present throughout the year in the diet. Birds can be found in pairs or in small flocks, outside the breeding season also in groups with other species of birds.
ReproductionMonogamous bird nests twice a year. The female hatches eggs for about 14 days. Both parents feed the chicks for approximately three weeks.
