Europe , the Caucasus , the Far East [1] .
Description
Small beetles 6.0–9.0 mm long. As a rule, the whole body and elytra are uniformly black (sometimes the pronotum in females is red). Elytra without transverse bandages, covered with dotted rows reaching the apex. Adult beetles are found on flowers. Larvae live under the bark, where they actively prey - feed on the larvae of woodcutter beetles, grinders, and goldfish [2] [1] .
