About the album
Bonnie James released an album dedicated to the theme of eternal love , the album is also dedicated to Valentine's Day [2] . “Published 11 days before the holiday , Send One Your Love meets the requirements of such a romantic holiday. This is not the only James album suitable for a candlelight dinner, but special for nightly lovemaking. Singer Quinn's vocal style of performance in “Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight” sounds as if the song was performed previously by Nancy Wilson and not the original composer, James Taylor . The music on this disc sounds sincere, ”said William Rulmann, critic of Allmusic [1] . The disc includes some cover versions of such singers as Stevie Wonder , Barry White (“I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby”), James Taylor, The Stylistics (“Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)”) and The Brothers Johnson (“I'll Be Good to You”) [2] [1] .
Send One Your Love , nominated for a Grammy , has been in the top five of the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums for 50 weeks and finished 2nd in the year. He became Boni James's third album, recorded on Concord Records. [2]
