Creativity

In 1998, the first book of poems and prose “Credo” ( ISBN 9965-425-26-4 ) was published . In the preface to the book, critic N. Zharmagambetov wrote: “It is difficult not to notice the bright, openly talented poetry of Asel Omar, where the courage and freedom of verse is akin to the absence of fear of heights: the poet is not afraid even of traditionally complex,“ closed ”topics. It’s exact, as if a photographically rich biography gradually portends the tragedy of the country and people at the dawn of the 20th century, expressed through the history of one family. ” Stories, novels and poems were published in the Collection of Modern Kazakhstani Prose, Anthology of Kazakhstani Poetry, Not Only Love, Media and Culture, in Russian and Kazakh literary magazines Prostor , Niva, Yunost , Scene , "Tamyr", translated into French and English ("Missives", "Youth"), reviews - in the "Literary newspaper" .

Author of prose books “Early Colds” (2007, ISBN 9965-18-210-8 ), “The Blue Wolf” (2009, ISBN 978-601-7208-08-0 ), “The Tengri Talisman” (2012, ISBN 978-9965 -22-390-7 ), published under the program of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Socially Important Types of Literature” and including stories from the “Tengri Talisman” cycle. These are the stories “Dervish and Rosa”, “Two Blades”, “Wolf Heart”, “Timur Station” and others, based on an alloy of stylization of ancient Turkic mythology and political history, smoothly flowing and interwoven with the mythology and history of our country in the 20th century. The stories of this cycle are multi-layered, created on the borders of mystical realism and cryptohistory.

The existential manifesto of the generation born in the 70s was the story “Black Snow of December” about the December events in Almaty in 1986, called by A. Kodar “anatomy of fear”: his style, intentionally chaotic, reflects the chaos and confusion of our reality, which it is impossible to transform with the help of consciousness constrained by fear. “The author portrays events dryly and harshly, with a fair amount of irony,” writes A. Kodar. “This is an unconventional coverage of the December events, aimed at the demythologization of public consciousness.”

The stories “Satisfaction” and “Guest Worker” reveal the contemporary problems of a neocapitalist society, the main of which is the global loneliness of a megalopolis resident. The views on globalization are also reflected in the author’s speech at the 42nd International Conference of Writers in Slovenia (2010) “Writer and Globalization. Literary images "(" Writer and globalization. Literary images ").

The problems of historical and philosophical analysis "based on the mythology of pre-Islamic Turks." Based on the hermeneutic approach to texts, the author shows that numinosity - the experience of experiencing the presence of God - is the basis of individual self-identification, and the study of the formation of philosophy from the pre-philosophical tradition cannot be considered without taking into account the nomadic type of civilization. The main provisions of the scientific work are reflected in the published works “The Logos of the Ancient Turkic Myth”, “The Concept of Numinous Experience (based on Tengrianism)”, “About ontological foundations of mythology, "" numinous aspect of the mythological consciousness Benjy Compson in the novel William Faulkner's "The Sound and the Fury," "," Hate in the city.
