Vermilion ( Eng. Vermilion Lakes ) - a group of lakes in Banff National Park , located in the Canadian Rockies in the province of Alberta . Located in the Bow River Valley, food and runoff are also along this river. The surface area of the lakes is 0.48 km².

History
Archaeological excavations have shown that ancient people lived on the shores of lakes more than 10,800 years ago, in particular traces of sites and obsidian tools were discovered [1] .
