Geographical position
It is located on the left bank of the Tsna River , in fact - the northern edge of the Sasovo district center, where the nearest railway station is located .

It has regular connections to the district center with intercity buses No. 4 of small and medium class, with an interval of 40–80 minutes. Secondary school, post office. History
In 1883, the village of Temgenevo was part of the Glyadkovsky volost of the Elatom district of the Tambov province . From 2004 to the present, it has been part of the Glyadkovsky rural settlement . Until that moment, it was part of the Temgenevsky rural district .
Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Savin was born in the village.

Interesting Facts
Half a kilometer north of the village, on the left steep bank of the Tsna, there is the famous Temgenevsky settlement - the preserved earthen rampart of an ancient fortress, founded as a fortified post of the 12th century [8] .
