Woshinvo (和 勝 和, Wo Shing Wo or Heshenhe) is one of Hong Kong ’s most powerful triads , part of the Wo criminal community (和 字 頭). Translated from Chinese, the name of the triad means "Harmony that overcomes harmony."

History
The Voshinvo Triad was founded in 1930 in the Sham-Shui-Po area , in 1931 it established a branch in the Toronto Chinatown , and in 1932 already had 15 branches in Chinatowns around the world. During the Second World War, the members of Voshinvo actively collaborated with the Japanese occupiers, including the punitive.
After the war, at the expense of Chinese refugees who poured into Hong Kong, the number of Woshinvo members grew from 5 thousand to 70 thousand in 1950. In the second half of the 90s, the Voshinvo Hong Kong wing was divided into six subgroups and included about 500 armed militants based in the New Territories .
In 2002, in Birmingham’s Chinatown, at the China Palace casino, there was a massive skirmish between gangsters from Voshinvo and 14K , as a result of which seven people ended up in a hospital with stab wounds, and one of the bosses of the British branch of Voshinvo Man Chunli died [1] [2] . By 2005, Voshinvo had become the largest drug dealer in Hong Kong.
Structure
The Woshinvo Triad has strong positions in the Hong Kong districts of Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui ( Yauchimwon County), Sham Shui Po , Tsung Wan , Tai Po , Shung Shui ( North District) and Wang Chai ( Wanchai County). In addition, triad branches operate in Macau and Shenzhen , Chinatowns of London , Birmingham , Manchester , Amsterdam , Rotterdam and Toronto , as well as in the USA , Japan , Thailand and Australia [3] .
Voshinvo is engaged in the retail sale of drugs (especially in clubs and bars), racketeering, gambling, debt collection and pimping. Members of the triad also control brothels and small hotels in the Jordan region ( Yauchimmon district), arms, stolen cars, counterfeit goods, used mobile phones and household appliances in the Mong Kok area, minibuses in Kowloon and New Territories [4] . Voshinvo is one of the few triads of Hong Kong, still adhering to the old traditions of Chinese secret societies. The Voshinvo boss is elected every two years (in 2008-2010, Pun was nicknamed “Broken Mouth,” since 2010, Shu Tsai). The leaders of the triad have extensive corrupt ties among Hong Kong politicians, police and businessmen.
