Lower Manoma

Lower Manoma is a village in the Nanai district of the Khabarovsk Territory . The administrative center and the only settlement of the rural settlement is “Lower Manoma Village” .

Geography

The village of Lower Manoma stands on the right bank of the Manoma River (the right tributary of Anyui ).

The road to the village goes from the Khabarovsk-Komsomolsk-on-Amur highway from the vicinity of the village of Troitskoye . The distance to the district center is about 18 km.

To the east of the village of Nizhnyaya Manoma there is a forest road to the village of Upper Manoma , a distance of about 40 km.

History

The village was organized in 1933 on the banks of the Manoma River . Most of the first settlers are former kulaks mainly from Western Ukraine. The village was closed for entry and exit, it was under curfew. Now mainly pensioners live in the village. There is a recreation center.
