Origin
It comes from the Smolensk boyar Konstantin Zhaba who lived at the end of the 15th century .
Representatives
Representatives of the clan mainly had estates in the Braslav district of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . During the time of the Russian Empire, the clan was included in the VI part of the genealogy book of the Vitebsk and Coven provinces.

Emblem Description
The clan has its own emblem , which arose from a printed proprietary sign, which was subsequently heraldized and acquired a resemblance to the Polish emblems of “ Koscesha ” and “ Odrovonge ”.
