Publication History

The new series with Spider-Man in the lead role was announced by Marvel in June 2011 [1] . The first issue was released on November 9; Zeb Wells acted as screenwriter, and Joe Madureira (pencil) and Ferran Daniel (paints) acted as artists [2] . The first three issues will contain a special code that makes it possible to get a free digital copy of the comic book [3] , which has recently come into use by several publishers [4] .

The series was discontinued in June 2013 on the 22nd issue. It will be replaced by the Superior Spider-Man Team-Up , the first release of which will be released in July 2013 [5] .
