Distribution of Rhine Frankish dialects
From the north and west, adjacent to the Moselle-Frankish dialects, the Rheinfranks are limited to the St. Goar line . In the north, near Kassel , the Benrath line passes, which is the border of the Upper and Low German dialects . From the South-Frankish , Alemannic and East-Frankish dialects in the east and south, the Rhine-Frankish dialects are separated by the Speyer line .
