The Synodal Committee for Interaction with the Cossacks (abbreviated as SKVK ) is the synodal institution of the Russian Orthodox Church .
It was founded on March 5, 2010 by the decision of the Holy Synod . Bishop of Pavlovo-Posadsky Kirill (Pokrovsky) was appointed Chairman of the Synodal Committee for Cooperation with Cossacks (since March 22, 2011 - Bishop of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssky).
On March 31, 2010, at a meeting of the Holy Synod, the charter of the Synodal Committee for Cooperation with the Cossacks was approved [1] .
