Annual or biennial herbaceous plant height from 25 to 100 cm [3] .
Root spindly, thin.
The stem is straight or ascending, leafy, hollow, naked inside. Leaves are alternate, oblong in outline, twice or thrice pinnate on narrow filamentous lobes.
Flowers are collected in baskets with a diameter of 2.0-2.5 cm, on long peduncles. False-tongue flowers are white, the middle of the basket is yellow. A receptacle stupidly conical, not hollow [3] is a characteristic feature that distinguishes the plant from chamomile ( Matricaria chamomilla ); in addition, the flowers do not have a characteristic "chamomile" smell.
The fruit is dark brown triangular achene .
