Warmey ( Spanish Provincia de Huarmey , Quechua Warmiy pruwinsya ) is one of the 20 provinces of the Ankash region in Peru . The area is 3 909.08 km². According to 2007 data, the population is 27,820 people [1] . The population density is 7.13 people / km². The capital is the city of the same name.

Geography
Located in the southwestern part of the region, it borders with the provinces: Kasma (in the north), Uaras and Aija (in the northeast), Rekuay and Bolognesi (in the east), as well as with the Lima region (in the south). In the west it is washed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
