Purpose of Creation
The Korean Traditional Hapkido Federation was created and passed legal registration in 2003. The goal of the KTHF was to bring together Hapkido clubs and federations to preserve the traditional Hapkido teaching system. The preservation of ancient traditions that have developed over many centuries, a system of ideas about the structure of the world and the interaction of man with the forces of nature is the main concept of KTHF.

Kim Jil Young President and founder of the Traditional Korean Hapkido Federation. Grandmaster 9 dan . The first high-level master who came to the USSR with the aim of developing and spreading the martial art of Hapkido . He lived in Russia for about 6 years, during which he trained several Hapkido instructors in the cities of St. Petersburg , Moscow , Voronezh , Lipetsk , Volgograd .

Emblem

Activities in Russia
The order of entry into the organization and the provision on the assignment of a master's degree (Dan)
To join the organization, you must send the following e-mail to the KTHF branch in your area:
1. Application for admission. 2. An autobiography. 3. Dan certificate (if available). 4. Copy of passport. 5. Color photo.
This provision was developed by the Korean Federation of Traditional Hapkido to systematize the issuance of documents on awarding the degree of mastery of "dan". All heads of the organization’s branches in Korea and other countries are required to strictly abide by this provision. Admission to certification for the degree of "dan" occurs in compliance with the terms defined in this provision: 2 dan - 1 year, 3 dan - 2 years, 4 dan - 3 years (age at least 20 years), 5 dan - 4 years, 6 dan - 5 years, 7 dan - 6 years, 8 dan - 7 years, 9 dan - 8 years (age not less than 60 years) An application for assignment of a master degree "dan" can be considered by authorized heads of departments of the organization independently up to level 4 dan. To pass the certification for the master's degree "dan", the candidate submits: an application, 5 color photos 3.5 x 4.5 cm, a copy of the passport, confirmation of payment of the established contribution.
