Career

Maxim Velikov began his professional career in 1999 as part of Moscow CSKA . As part of the “army” Maxim played until 2002 , having gained 4 (3 + 1) points in 55 matches held during this time. In the middle of the 2002/03 season, Velikov became a player in the Sunday “ Chemist ”, who played in the Major League . As part of the Sunday, Maxim spent 27 matches in which he did not score a single point, after which he accepted the offer of his native Saratov “ Crystal ”.

As part of his own club, Velikov finally managed to reach a high level, scoring 21 (12 + 9) points in 82 matches. Due to this success, in the middle of the 2004/05 season, he entered into an agreement with one of the strongest clubs in the Premier League of the HC MVD . In the very first season, as part of the Moscow Region club, Maxim, together with the team, won the right to play in the elite Russian division, and in the 2009/10 season the HC MVD became the main sensation of the tournament - the club only lost to Ak Bars in Kazan in the final with a score of 3: 4.

In total, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Velikov spent 315 matches in which he scored 74 (16 + 58) points, but immediately after the silver season the Moscow Region club was disbanded, and Maxim, along with 16 of his teammates, signed a contract with Dynamo Moscow [1] . In his debut season as a Muscovite, Velikov spent 25 matches on the site in which he scored 6 (4 + 2) points, after which the club management decided to extend the agreement with the player [2] .

The next season, due to an injury [3], Maxim took part in only 17 Dynamo matches, nevertheless making his contribution to the club winning its first Gagarin Cup .
