Milwaukee Bucks is a professional basketball club serving at the National Basketball Association . The club is based in Milwaukee , Wisconsin . The team was founded in 1968 , as a result of the expansion of the league, and currently plays in the Fiserv Forum . The move to the new arena took place in 2018. And the old BMO Arena Harris Bradley Center was destroyed by the city's municipality in January 2019. Bucks won one championship title (1971), twice became champions of the conference (1971, 1974) and fourteen times became champions of the division (1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 2001, 2019). Famous players such as Karim Abdul-Jabbar , Sidney Moncrif , Oscar Robertson , Bob Legnier , Ray Allen , Andrew Bogut , Michael Redd and John McGlocklin played for Milwaukee .
