Geography
Location
15 km south-west of Chechersk , 28 km from the Buda-Koshelevskaya railway station (on the Gomel - Zhlobin line ), 62 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the southern outskirts of the marshland and a small reservoir. The layout consists of a small rectilinear street oriented from southeast to northwest along a road to which a long rectilinear street joins from the south. The building is predominantly two-sided, mainly wooden, of a manor type. One of the streets is named after Hero of the Soviet Union N.K. Kruglikov .

History
It was founded in the XVIII century by immigrants from neighboring villages. After the 1st partition of the Commonwealth (1772) as part of the Russian Empire . The Krutoe estate was the possession of the Zhukovsky, who owned 1,130 tithes of land here. As a result of the fire on July 24, 1911, 67 yards were burned.
The most active development occurred in the 1920s. In 1931 a collective farm was organized, a forge worked. From 1939, the center of Naukhovichsky, from June 30, 1966 to 1986, the Krutovsky village councils of Chechersky, from December 25, 1962 Buda-Koshelevsky , from January 6, 1962, the Chechersky districts of the Gomel region. During World War II, the invaders killed 22 residents. On the fronts and in the partisan struggle, 290 people from the villages of the Krutovsky village council were killed, the memory of them is immortalized by a stele, established in 1966 in the center of the village. According to the 1959 census, the center of the collective farm named after S. M. Kirov. The secondary school, the House of Culture, the feldsher-midwife station, the canteen, the post office , the sewing workshop, 2 shops were located.
The structure of the Krutovsky Village Council included, until 1962, the village of Lebedinoe, until 1999 - the villages of Belitsa, Rassvet (until 1971 Shaprudovka), which currently do not exist.
