Geography
Location
1 km west of Chechersk , 38 km from the Buda-Koshelevskaya railway station (on the Gomel - Zhlobin line ), 66 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the Chechora River (a tributary of the Sozh River ), in the west, a meliorative canal.
Transportation Network
On the highway Chechersk - Ryskov . The layout consists of a short, almost latitudinal, rectilinear street, to which a short arcuate street joins from the south. Two-sided building, wooden, manor type.
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from neighboring villages. The most active development was carried out in the 1920s. In 1926, in the Chechersky village council of the Chechersky district of the Gomel district . In 1930, a collective farm was organized. 14 residents died on the fronts of World War II . According to the 1959 census, as part of the “Flag of Communism” collective farm (the center is the village of Otor ).
