Geography
Location
21 km south-west of Chechersk , 18 km from the Buda-Koshelevskaya railway station (on the Gomel - Zhlobin line ), 46 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
In the south and west, reclamation canals connected to the Lubich River (a tributary of the Chechora River).
Transportation Network
Near the highway Dovsk - Gomel. The layout consists of a short rectilinear street oriented from the southeast to northwest and built up on two-sided wooden estates.
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by immigrants from neighboring villages. In 1926 he worked as a post office in the Korablishchansky village council of the Chechersky district of the Gomel district . In 1929 a collective farm was organized. 12 residents died on the fronts of World War II . According to the 1959 census, as part of the subsidiary farm of the regional production association “Agricultural chemistry” named after A. V. Suvorov (the center is the village of Rovkovichi ).
