Story
The second half of the 1490s. Twenty-year-old Prince Yongsan ascends the throne and becomes the tenth ruler of the Joseon Dynasty. He is full of desire to restore the good name of his mother - Queen Yoon. Seongjon, his now deceased father, had a beloved but barren concubine. To continue the dynasty, he married the beautiful Yun, who soon gave birth to his son - Yongsan. The proud and intelligent queen, jealous of her husband for a concubine, was chosen by the opposition nobles as a possible candidate for the throne. Fearing a coup, the king ordered his wife to be poisoned.
Yonsana visits the spirit of the murdered mother. In an attempt to regain her high status at least posthumously, Yongsan stumbles upon the opposition of the court.
