Kurtushibinsky ridge - a mountain range on the border of Tuva and the Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia , the southern branch of the Western Sayan system .

The length of the ridge is about 200 km (from the valley of the upper reaches of the Yenisei in the west to the headwaters of the Us river in the northeast). In the southwest and northeast, the heights exceed 2000 m. The highest point is Mount Bedelig (2492 m). The tops of the ridge are rounded, flattened, slopes for the most part of medium steepness. Traces of ancient glaciation have survived: punishment (often with lakes ), trough valleys, moraine ridges .
The ridge is composed mainly of crystalline schists , tuffs , limestones and quartzites , interrupted by intrusions of peridotites and granites . The slopes are covered with larch and cedar forests , in the southern part - steppes , on the peaks - mountain tundra and stone collapses.
The central part of the ridge is slightly lowered, the Usinsky tract passes through it.
