Due to the many wishes of the fans, Udo Dirkschneider decided to release a live album. After two tours in Russia , the place for recording the album was unanimously chosen by the members of the group. Udo Dirkschneider commented as follows: “We could record an album anywhere, but nowhere is there such a warm atmosphere as in Russia. That is why we will record it there ” [1] .
The set list of the album was determined by fans of the group through interactive voting on the official website [1] .
In February 2001, Dirkschneider arrived in Moscow , where together with the group Aria recorded the song Shtil, which he himself chose from the proposed ones [2] , and in April 2001 went on a tour with Aria , where the album was recorded.
The tour was held in the cities: Rostov-on-Don (the concert was attended by 4,500 people), Volgograd (4000), Saratov (4000), Samara (4000), Nizhny Novgorod (3500), Moscow ( Ice Sports Palace CSKA 6000, Club "Point" 1200), St. Petersburg (5000).
The album was released by SPV Records on a CD (DCD 089-5742 2) [2] . Singles were not released.
Interestingly, the first copies contained a spelling error in the inscription in Russian on the envelope: “From Russia with a consert”; after the error was revealed, the circulation of envelopes was reprinted: “From Russia with a Concert”
