Saint-Pol-sur-Mer ( fr. Saint-Pol-sur-Mer , picard. Saint-Po-dsu-Mér ) is a city and former commune of France , in the Nord region - Pas-de-Calais , department of Nord . The population is 22,100 people (2006) [1] . In 2010, the commune united with Dunkirk .
