Kozeluzhye ( Belor. Kazyaluzhzha ) is a village in the Sudkovsky village council of the Khoiniki district of the Gomel region of Belarus .

Location
3 km west of the district center and Khoiniki railway station (on the Vasilevichi - Khoiniki line from the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 106 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
On the highway Khoiniki - Mozyr . The layout consists of a slightly curved, almost meridional street, to which a short rectilinear street joins in the south. Two-sided building, wooden, manor type. In 1986-87, brick houses with 50 apartments were built, in which immigrants settled from radiation-contaminated places after the Chernobyl disaster .
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Khoiniki volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1850 the property was treasury. In 1879, it was designated among the villages of the Zagalsky church parish . According to the census of 1897, there was a chapel, a bread store.
From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927 and from June 30, 1966, the center of the Kozeluzhsky village council of the Khoiniki district. In 1931 a collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War, the invaders partially burned the village. 78 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, the center of the Khoyniki state farm. There are a secondary school (a new brick building was built in 1997), a Culture House, a library, a feldsher-midwife station, a post office , and a store.
Until December 31, 2009 the center of the Kozeluzhsky Village Council [2] . Until December 31, 2009 in the Dvorishchansky village council [2] , which was renamed Sudkovsky.
At the expense of Maria Sharapova , a tennis court was built in Kozeluzhye.
