Geography
Location
7 km southeast of the district center and the Khoiniki railway station (on the Vasilevichi - Khoiniki line from the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 110 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the southern outskirts, a reclamation canal connected to the Pripyat River (a tributary of the Dnieper River ).
Transportation Network
Near the highway Khoiniki - Bragin . The layout consists of a rectilinear street oriented from the south-west to the north-east and built up on two-sided wooden estates.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the second half of the 19th century as a village in the Khoiniki volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1930, 96% of the inhabitants were Polish families. In 1931, the collective farm named after P.L. Voikov was organized, a forge worked. 20 residents died on the fronts of World War II . According to the 1959 census, as part of the farm "Dawn" (center - the village of Poselichi ).
After the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - resettled. There were only the oldest residents who refused to move. As of 2017, there is no village (after the death of the last resident, the houses were demolished and the territory was plowed). The village was located approximately in the center of the screen , a compartment of trees in the upper part - a cemetery.
