Originally from Europe , the Caucasus and Turkey . Introduced into North America [2] .
Botanical description
Plant height from 7.5 to 15 cm [3] .
Economic value and application
The plant is grown in gardens as an ornamental [3] .
In culture
Grows on well-drained, dry or medium moisture soil in a well-lit area. But a more preferable place is sandy or stony land with good drainage . Able to withstand drought. Wet soil adversely affects the plant, on it it begins to rot [3] .
