Geography
Location
32 km east of Rechitsa , 3 km from the Yakimovka railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 40 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Kalinkovichi -Gomel highway. The layout consists of a rectilinear street close to latitudinal orientation. Building wooden manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the second half of the 19th century as a village in the Teleshevsky volost of the Gomel district of the Mogilev province . In 1909, the outskirts of Chizhovka (aka Andreevka) 336 acres of land.
In 1926, in the Uvarovichi district of the Gomel district . Nearby were the villages of Old Chizhovka and New Chizhovka, which later became part of the village. In 1930, the Krasnaya Chizhovka collective farm was organized, and a windmill worked . 29 residents died on the fronts of World War II . According to the 1959 census as part of the Borschevka state farm (center - the village of Borschevka ).
