Geography
Location
14 km south of the district center and the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 64 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the road Rechitsa - Khoiniki . The layout consists of a straight, short, latitudinal orientation street, built up with loose wooden manors.
History
Archaeologists discovered a burial mound (70 mounds 1.5 km east of the village) indicates the settlement of these places from ancient times. According to written sources, it has been known since the 18th century as a village in Rechytsa district of Minsk province of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania .
After the 2nd partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . In 1879 it was designated in Sviridovichsky church parish . In 1908, in the Zaspenskaya volost of Rechytsa district of Minsk province .
In 1930 the Novaya Zhizn collective farm was organized, a forge and a windmill worked . 31 residents died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War . According to the census of 1959 as part of the collective farm "Soviet Belarus" (center - the village Zaspa ).
