Geography
Location
25 km north of the district center and the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 75 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Svetlogorsk -Rechitsa highway . The layout consists of 2 short, almost parallel to each other streets of latitudinal orientation. Rare construction, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Gorvali Volost, Rechytsa District, Minsk Province . In 1932 the collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War in July 1943, the invaders completely burned down the village and killed 3 residents. 24 inhabitants died at the front. According to the census of 1959 in the state farm "Podlesye" (center - the village of Milograd ).
