Antalaha is a city in Madagascar . It is located in the Sava region and is the administrative center of the district of the same name . The population is 30,000. (2001 census) [1] .

The city has a developed woodworking industry. Antalaha is also a center for the export of vanilla [2] . The city has a port [3] and an airport .

The city is located in the north-east of the country, on the shores of the Indian Ocean . The climate is very rainy.

The population of the city is growing steadily [1] : if in 1975 in Antalya 17 541 people lived, and in 1993 - 23 949 people, then in 2001 - 30 000.
