Geography
Location
16 km south-east from the district center and the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 66 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the Dnieper River .
Transportation Network
Near the highway Loyev - Rechitsa. The layout consists of a straight street, oriented from the south-east to north-west, to which a lane joins from the west. The building is bilateral, wooden, manor type.
History
The burial mound discovered by archaeologists (50 embankments, on the eastern outskirts of the village, on the right bank of the river) indicates the settlement of these places from ancient times. The modern village was founded in the 1920s by immigrants from neighboring villages. In 1931, residents joined the collective farm , worked brick-pottery gang. 19 residents died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War . According to the census of 1959 in the collective farm "50 years of October" (center - the village of Levashi ).
