Location
33 km southeast of the regional center and the Rechitsa railway station (on the Gomel - Kalinkovichi line ), 83 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Loev - Rechitsa highway . The layout consists of a curved meridional street, to which short streets join in the north and south. The building is loose, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Kholmeche volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1818, the local landowner owned 112 tithes of land. In 1850, the possession of Count Rakitsky. In 1879, it was designated in the Kholmechsky church parish . According to the census of 1897, there was a chapel, a bread store.
From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927, the center of the Krasnopolsky village council of Kholmechsky , from August 4, 1927, the Rechitsa district of the Gomel district . In 1930, the Red Flag collective farm was organized, a forge and a windmill worked . 47 residents died on the fronts of World War II . In 1945-46, residents of the villages of Dvorishche and Zhubovets (currently do not exist) moved to the village. According to the 1959 census as part of the Red Flag collective farm (the center is the village of Artuki ).
Until October 31, 2006 as part of the Artukovsky Village Council [1] .
