Location
41 km west of Rechitsa , 12 km from the railway station Babichi (on the line Gomel - Kalinkovichi ), 91 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Svetlogorsk - Rechitsa highway . The layout consists of a curved meridional street, to the center of which from the east a short rectilinear street joins. Two-sided building, loose, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 16th century as a village in the Rechitsa district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania , in the possession of the Potocki, then Masalski. After the 2nd division of the Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . In 1850, the possession of the landowner Adamovich. In 1879, it was designated in the Kokuyevsky church parish . According to the census of 1897 in the Yakimovoslobodsky volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province .
In 1931 a collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War, the invaders organized a stronghold in the village, disarmed by the partisans in February 1943. In April 1943, the punishers completely burned the village and killed 11 residents. 23 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm “12 years of the October Revolution” (the center is the village of Vasilkovo ).
Until October 31, 2006, in the Dubrovsky Village Council, according to the Decision of the Gomel Regional Council of Deputies, the Dubrovsky Village Council was renamed the Zakhodovsky Village Council with the transfer of the village council center to the village of Zakhody [1] .
