26 km south-west of the regional center and the Rogachev railway station (on the Mogilev - Zhlobin line ), 147 km from Gomel .

History
According to written sources, a village known in the beginning of the 19th century as a village in Rogachev district of the Mogilev province . According to the revision materials of 1859, the possession of the landowner Malinovsky. In 1932, residents entered the collective farm . According to the 1959 census as part of the Red Army collective farm (the center is the village of Ostrov ).
