Evanton ( Eng. Evanton , Gaelic. Baile Eòghainn ) is a village in Easter Ross, in the Highland region, Scotland . There are 1,105 people living in Evanton. The settlement was founded in 1807 by Alexander Fraser Bolconi, who named it after his son Evan ( Evan Fraser of Balconie ).
