Title

The name of the square comes from Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya Street , which, in turn, received the name from the Garden Ring and Triumphal Square .

Location

Located between Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya street and Armory lane .

History

The square is destroyed on the site of the houses demolished in 1980 during preparation for the Summer Olympic Games in Moscow . Among the demolished houses were: the building of the Moscow Guardianship of the Poor clergy, the houses of Mostkov and Nathan (before the revolution, they had inexpensive furnished rooms), as well as the house of Sletov (house number 13, after the revolution - the Institute of Forensic Medicine) [2] .
