The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika , abbreviated as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Transdniestrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria , is the executive body of the government, accountable to the President of the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic on matters assigned to the President by the Constitution of the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic , or in accordance with legislative acts. Formed on July 1, 1992 , as the Republican Bureau of External Relations of the PMR .

Content
History
July 1, 1992 is considered the Day of Education of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR. On this day, the Decree of the President created the Republican Bureau of External Relations of the PMR. The Bureau was entrusted with the task of organizing and coordinating the activities of state bodies and institutions of the Transdnistrian Moldavian Republic on cultural, economic and political relations with the bodies and institutions of other states. The status of the Bureau was equal to the republican government. The head of the Bureau was ex officio a member of the government of the PMR.
The general management of the Bureau was carried out by the President of the PMR and the State Secretary of the PMR.
On September 8, 1992, the Resolution of the Supreme Council of the PMR was reorganized into the Republican Department for External Relations. On March 31, 1993, by the Decree of the President, the State Secretary of the PMR Litskai Valery Anatolyevich was appointed Acting Head of the Republican External Relations Department.
On August 3, 2000, the office of the State Secretary of the PMR and the Republican External Relations Office were transformed into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. By a presidential decree, Valery Litskai was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. [one]
In September 2010, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released its first magazine, Diplomatic Bulletin of Transnistria, a new issue number being published once every 6 months [2] .
On March 30, 2011, by the Order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR No. 34, the Public Advisory Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika was created, the same document approved the Regulations on the Public Advisory Council [3] .
On March 20, 2012, the Order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR established the Council of Young Diplomats. [four]
In 2013, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR signed several cooperation agreements:
- April 16 - Agreement on the interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and the ANO "Eurasian Center" [5] .
- May 27 - Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and the Public Chamber of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika [6] .
- August 29 - Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and the Foundation for the Promotion of International Relations and Cooperation “Neighborhood” [7] .
On April 12, 2013, the opening of the Eurasian Transnistria media center and the presentation of the media portal of the same name took place in the foreign policy department [8] .
Since March 2016, all materials on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR became available for free distribution under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license [9] .

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika is the executive body of the government, accountable to the President of the PMR on matters assigned to the President by the Constitution of the PMR , or in accordance with the legislative acts:
- carries out state administration in the field of relations of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika with foreign states and international organizations.
- ensures the participation of the PMR in the activities of various international and regional organizations, conferences, forums, thereby facilitating the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic as a member of the world community
- coordinates the activities of the executive bodies of state power of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika in the sphere of foreign relations in accordance with the foreign policy of the republic.
- is the main body in the field of relations with foreign states, international organizations and exercises overall control over the implementation of international obligations of the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic.
Representation of Transnistria
The system of the Ministry includes diplomatic and other representative offices, including with international and intergovernmental organizations. In their activities, overseas missions are accountable and controlled by the Ministry, guided by the laws of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika on the diplomatic service, normative and administrative acts of the Ministry, and the norms of international law, taking into account the customary and legislative norms of the host countries.
In the autumn of 2013, the President of the Transdnistrian Moldavian Republic proposed to re-open the Official Representatives of Transnistria in Moscow and Kiev , which were previously closed [12] .

In accordance with the Constitution of Transnistria, the President of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika carries out general management of the foreign policy of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, concluding international treaties of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, signs ratifications in case of ratification of an international treaty by the Supreme Council, accepts letters of credentials and diplomas of diplomatic representatives. Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria is a member of the Government of Transnistria , and is in charge of the foreign affairs agency.
