History
The street is named in memory of the national artist of Russia Alibek Kantemirov .
The street was formed in the middle of the XIX century and was marked on the maps of the city of Vladikavkaz until 1922 as Svyatopolkovskaya street .
October 25, 1922 Svyatopolkovskaya street was renamed the street of Red October .
On October 24, 1994, Red October Street was renamed by the local government of Vladikavkaz to Alibek Kantemirova Street.
