Geography
Location
53 km north-east of Petrikov , 42 km from the railway station Mulyarovka (on the Luninets - Kalinkovichi line ), 204 km from Gomel . The layout consists of a rectilinear street oriented from southwest to northeast and rarely built up with wooden estates.

History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . It is designated as the folklore of Starin and Starik on the map of 1866, which was used by the Western Land Reclamation Expedition, which worked in these places in the 1890s. According to the revision materials of 1850, the possession of Obukhovich. In 1879 it is referred to as a dungeon. According to the census of 1897 in the Kopatkevichy volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province .
In 1917, a school was opened, which was located in a hired peasant house. In 1931, the collective farm “Engine” was organized, 2 forges worked. During World War II, 24 residents died at the front.
