Geography
Location
15 km east of Petrikov , 7 km from the railway station Mulyarovka (on the Luninets - Kalinkovichi line ), 172 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the Bobrik River (a tributary of the Pripyat River ).
Transportation Network
Transport links on the country, then the highway Luninets - Gomel. The layout consists of a curved street close to the meridional orientation, to which 3 from the east join, 2 lanes from the west. The building is mainly one-sided, loose, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the beginning of the 19th century as a village in the Petrikovsky volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In 1876, the landowner Proshinsky owned 1790 tithes of land, a mill and a cloth in the village and its environs. In 1879 it was designated as a village in the Petrikovsky church parish . According to the census of 1897, there was a nearby farm of the same name.
In 1930, a collective farm was organized. During World War II, 16 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after V.I. Lenin (the center is the village of Konkovichi ). There is a club, library, feldsher-midwife station.
