History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a small village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . It was part of the estate of the same name, its owner, the nobleman Kirchner, owned in 1876 in various places 13,214 tithes of land, 2 taverns, a water mill, and a cloth box. With the commissioning of the Luninets-Gomel railway line in February 1886, the railway station began operating. In 1908, in the Kopatkevichy volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province .
In 1931, the Red Flag collective farm was organized, a water mill, a blacksmith shop, and a wool bath were operating. There was an elementary school (in 1935 - 62 students). During World War II , 44 Soviet soldiers and partisans were killed in battles near the village (buried in a mass grave, 0.7 km south-west of the village). In May 1944, residents of the village, which was located in the frontline, for the sake of their safety, were relocated to the city of Kalinkovichi at the start of Operation Bagration . 40 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census. Since November 18, 1967 the center of the Myshansky Village Council. Center farm "Myshanka". There are secondary and music schools, a club, a library, an outpatient clinic, 1 kindergarten, a post office , 4 shops, a savings bank.
