Geography
Location
62 km to the north-east of Petrikov , 38 km from the Ptich railway station (on the Luninets - Kalinkovichi line ), 191 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the river Tremlya (a tributary of the Pripyat river), in the east is a network of reclamation canals.
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Komarovichi - Ptich road . The layout consists of a rectilinear meridional street, to which a short street with a latitudinal orientation joins in the north from the west. The building is rare, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Kopatkevichi volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In 1879 it was designated as a farm. According to the census of 1897, there was a tar factory nearby in Luchitsky volost. In 1931 the collective farm "Red Wrestler" was organized, the forge worked. During World War II, 41 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after V.I. Lenin (the center is the village of Kolka ).
