The Great Field ( Belorussian. Vyalaye Pole ) is a village in the Chelyushchevich village council of the Petrikov district of the Gomel region of Belarus .

Geography
Location
45 km southeast of Petrikov , 28 km from the Ptich railway station (on the Luninets - Kalinkovichi line ), 190 km from Gomel .
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Komarovichi - Kopatkevichi road . The layout consists of a rectilinear, almost meridional street, built up on both sides, with dense wooden estates.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Kopatkevichi volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In 1932, a collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War , 14 Soviet soldiers and 3 partisans (buried in a mass grave in the cemetery) were killed in battles for the village and its environs, 9 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census as part of the Chelyuschevichi state farm (the center is the village of Chelyushevichi ).
