Location
38 km north-east of Petrikov , 7 km from the railway station Myshanka (on the Luninets - Kalinkovichi line ), 167 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
On the eastern outskirts - Plesetskaya ditch.
Transportation Network
Transport links on the country, then the highway Luninets - Kalinkovichi . The layout consists of a short rectilinear meridional street, to which an alley joins in from the west. It is rarely built up with wooden estates.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 18th century as a village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . After the 2nd division of the Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . In 1795, the village of Bayanich.
In 1931 a collective farm was organized. During World War II , 124 Soviet soldiers were killed in battles for the village and its environs (buried in a mass grave in the center of the village). In May 1944, residents of the village, which was located in the frontline at the beginning of the Bagration operation , were temporarily relocated to the village of Ignato-Fabiyanovka ( Kalinkovichi district ) for their safety. 21 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the Myshanka state farm (the center is the village of Myshanka ).
