Geography
Location
28 km south-west of Narovlya , 17 km from the railway station Yelsk (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ), 200 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
In the south, east and north of the meliorative canals connected to the river Zhelon (Muhoedovsky channel).
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, and then the highway Gagin - Buk . The layout consists of a straight-line latitudinal street. Built bilaterally wooden houses of the manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Narovlya volost of Rechytsa district, Minsk province . In 1931, residents joined the collective farm , the forge was working. During World War II, 25 people died at the front. According to the census of 1959 in the composition of the state farm "Friendship" (center - the village Demidov ). The club, a site for the extraction of peat were located.
