Geography
Location
57 km south-west of Narovli , 33 km from the Yelsk railway station (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ), 235 km from Gomel , 1 km from the border with Ukraine .
Hydrography
On the Gryazivo River (a tributary of the Slovechna River).
Transportation Network
Transport links on a country road, and then on the Moskalevka - Demidov highway. The layout consists of 3 short meridional orientation of the streets, connected in the south by a short latitudinal street. The building is two-sided, dense, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the beginning of the 19th century , when the ore smelter worked here, in the Narovlyan volost of the Rechitsa district of Minsk province . In 1929 a collective farm was organized. During World War II , partisan detachments were stationed in the tract Lysaya Gora, located not far from the village. In August 1943, the German occupiers completely burned the village and killed 62 residents (buried in the grave of victims of fascism). 34 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after M.V. Frunze (center - the village of Grushevka ).
