Geography
9 km west of Mozyr , 6 km from the Kozenki railway station (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ), 142 km from Gomel .
On the Tur River (a tributary of the Pripyat River ).
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 18th century as a village in the Mozyr district of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . After the 2nd division of the Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . In 1834, as part of the estate Prudok. In 1879 it was designated as a village in the Skrygalovsky church parish . In 1908, in the Sloboda-Skrygalov volost of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province .
In 1931 a collective farm was organized. The invaders during the Great Patriotic War created their own garrison in the village, defeated on August 30, 1943 by partisans. The punishers completely burned the village and killed 12 residents. 23 residents died at the front. According to the 1959 census, as part of the collective farm named after M.V. Frunze (the center is the village of Big Zimovishchi ).

Transportation Network
