Rudnya ( Belor. Rudnya ) is a village in the Skrygalovsky village council of the Mozyr district of the Gomel region of Belarus .

In the west it borders with the forest. Near the village explored deposits of clay in industrial quantities.

Location
34 km west of Mozyr , 12 km from the railway station Ptich (on the Gomel - Luninets line ), 167 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
In the east ameliorative channel.
Transportation Network
Transport links along the country road, then the Gomel- Luninets highway. The layout consists of a short street close to the latitudinal orientation, with 2 lanes. The building is bilateral, wooden, manor type.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the beginning of the 19th century as the Rudnya Skrygalovskaya farm in the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . Mentioned under the year 1802 in connection with the description of the activities of the Skrygal church. According to the census of 1897, a water mill operated. In 1908, in the Sloboda-Skrygalovskaya parish of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province .
In 1931, residents joined the collective farm . During the Great Patriotic War in June 1943, the invaders completely burned down the village and killed 8 inhabitants. 13 residents were killed at the front. According to the census of 1959 as part of the collective farm "Friendship" (center - the village of Skrygalov ). Worked experienced forestry and brick-tile factory.
